Teal Health Reports the Regulatory Submission of Teal Wand to the US FDA for Cervical Cancer Screening

- Teal Health has submitted regulatory application for Teal Wand to the US FDA for screening cervical cancer at-home. It was also designated as a breakthrough device in May 2024
- Submission was based on SELF-CERV study involving 600 subjects across 16 US sites. Findings showed that 94% preferred at-home screening test if it was as accurate as in-office exams, 93% found it easy to use & 86% wanted to be updated with screening if an at-home option were available
- The Teal Wand is a device that allows people to collect vaginal sample themselves for cervical cancer screening at home or in a clinic, without an invasive exam
